Jeri has been teaching fitness classes for over 35 years. She is also a syndicated fitness columnist, and wrote weekly columns for the Bellingham Herald for several years. Jeri has been featured in a R.I.P.P.E.D video available online.
In her spare time, she enjoys camping and hiking with her family – as well as breeding Bernese Mountain dogs, and creating unique jewelry and wreaths, and dried floral arrangements which she sells online.
Whether you are new to exercise or a seasoned athlete, Jeri is always eager to help you attain your fitness goals.
Celine teaches Zumba® Fitness classes at the Cordata location every Wednesday at 5:30pm and Friday at 5:45pm. She strongly believes that exercising can and should be fun and enjoyable and always strives to make every class a party. Her goal is to make her routines easy to follow so that everyone moves the whole time and gets a great cardio workout. She also shows modifications throughout the class for lower impact steps. Celine holds her Group Exercise Instructor Certification through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America. Only three rules apply in Celine’s Zumba® classes: Keep moving, have fun, and smile!
In her personal life, she likes to spend time with her family: her husband Michael, with whom she moved from France 12 years ago, and their three children who are 9, 6 and a brand new baby.
I have been teaching group fitness classes for over 3 years. I have an AFAA group fitness certification and currently teach a kickboxing/power class at BAC. I also enjoy running and hiking with my dog. When I’m not at the gym, I work at Opportunity Council as a Case Management Supervisor for Homeless Housing. I love reading, watching movies, and drinking wine with friends.
Lynnette has been in the fitness industry since 2002 and with the BAC since 2007 as both a personal trainer and an Aerobics instructor. She has, in her own words, “a passion for learning more and more about the human body, how it functions and how to strengthen and improve a person’s fitness.” It is this passion that has driven her to become the definition of a well-rounded trainer. She has been an ACE certified personal trainer for the past 3 yeras and has certifications in ATP group fitness, Kettlebell training, Pilates Barrel, and is currently working on her CST certification. With her unique mix of knowledge she has the capability to work with everyone from mountain climbers, to moms on the go, to teens getting in shape for sports.
Her own fitness goals reached well beyond the walls of the BAC and have much more to do with being an inspirational mother and role model. It is true that she has competed in many local sporting events such as the Haggen to Haggen Run and the Lake Padden Triathalon, but the achievements of her family rank much higher in her book. Lynette is a proud mother of 4 young girls and works with their soccer teams helping them learn how to move and work their bodies effectively for their sport. She also wants to help her parents grow stronger as they grow older. In the end, she wants to help them reach their own personal goals and learn to love to live a healthy lifestyle. It is this selfless and caring demeanor and that not only makes her a great mother, but a great trainer as well.
