Paul Mulholland

   

Personal Trainer/Tai Chi Instructor

Paul is certified by AFAA as a Personal Trainer and by the Arthritis Foundation as a Tai chi instructor. His training and experience provides clients with encouragement, optimal and progressive fitness programs, and safety always comes first.

With a background in martial arts and nearly 20 years practicing Tai chi, Paul has been teaching since 1995 and he has trained in all four major styles. “Tai chi training can be applied to any physical or sporting activities as it promotes unified movement, strength, balance, while remaining mentally relaxed and focused.

In 2005, Paul implemented the Strong & Stable class, one of the classes offered in the Second Wind Program at BAC. He continues teaching this class on Monday mornings and it now has expanded to Theresa leading the class on Wednesday and Friday mornings.

As a fitness trainer Paul works with all ages and physical conditions and he enjoys assisting people setting up their conditioning programs. His focus is always on helping clients develop a workout routine that meets their individual needs and goals. Also, Paul works with older active adults having physical and health issues.

Paul also has 25 years experience as a counselor in private practice. Outside of work, his interests include art, music, literature and international travel.
